This true story follows the strange, tragic and sad life of John Joseph Merrick, also known as the Elephant Man. So deformed that he looked like a monster, Merrick joined the freak show to survive. But when "human curiosities" became illegal, Merrick found his way to the London Hospital, where a courageous doctor transformed him into a gentleman.
