When a mysterious trustee offers Jerusha Abbott, a young orphan, a scholarship to go to college, she’s very excited. She calls him Daddy-Long-Legs and over the next four years she writes him letters that are amusing, imaginative and full of wisdom. She’s happy to do as “Daddy” wishes until one day a young man appears in her life, and things become complicated. Jerusha can’t be sure how Daddy will react to this new situation.
