Set during the American Civil War, this classic novel by Louisa May Alcott tells the story of four sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. With their father away at the war, life is not easy for the March family. There are fights and jealousy, love and anger between the sisters. But then, Mr March is injured and Mrs March must go to his side. In the meantime, Beth becomes very ill with scarlet fever and the girls must manage alone. Will they be able to nurse Beth to health again? And how long until their mother comes home?
