THREE CHILD RULERS

THREE CHILD RULERS
Cross-curricular focus:

 History

Being in a position of power is not always as good as it sounds - especially when you're a young child! This is clear in this collection of biographies of three very different people - Ivan the Terrible, Mary, Queen of Scots, and the present Dalai Lama. They all became rulers at an early age, but faced dangers and hardship, sacrificing a happy childhood for the responsibilities of power.
