Calliope was kidnapped in Greece and is now ‘Flavia’, a slave in Pompeii. After discovering a secret, her life is now in danger. Helped by her gladiator friend Tiro, she changes her appearance and tries to escape. But strange things are happening in Pompeii. It’s very hot, there’s no wind and the birds are mysteriously dying. Then, the ground starts to shake violently and all eyes turn to the volcano Mount Vesuvius, which dominates the town of Pompeii. What’s happening?
