Three crazy witches make a prophecy that Macbeth, a brave soldier loyal to King Duncan, will become king. Overcome by greed and ambition and encouraged by his scheming wife, Macbeth kills Duncan and does, indeed, become king. But then, guilt, fear and paranoia take over Macbeth’s mind, as he imagines rivals and enemies in every place. How many more people will Macbeth murder to secure his hold on the crown?
