Dr John Dolittle loves animals and they love him, too. In fact, he prefers animals to his human patients! One day, Dr Dolittle receives a knock on his head and soon discovers that he can speak to animals in their own language. This leads to a change in career for the doctor, who then finds himself, and his beloved monkey Chee-Chee, on a mission to war-torn Africa.
