In this epic science-fiction tale from H. G. Wells, humans battle Martians for control of the Earth. The Martians want to stay on Earth because Mars in becoming too cold to live on. They use giant tripods as transport and carry a deadly Heat-Ray to burn everybody and everything in their way. How can the humans triumph against the hostile, invincible Martians?
