Set in the wild world of the early clans, this is the story of 14-year-old Oona. After her mother, Kayla, is killed in an encounter with a bear, Oona must live with the clan’s shaman, Morag. Kayla was the clan’s healer and now, the cruel and ambitious Morag wants the healing powers for herself. Determined to keep her mother’s ancient remedies, Oona leaves her father’s clan and sets off with only her companion, a loyal white wolf by her side. How will they survive away from the clan?
